Ceri is an artist and art worker based in Cambridgeshire, UK.
She works primarily in painting and drawing, with acrylic, oils, watercolours and charcoal. Ceri has been practicing as an artist for 15 years.
Her work is focused on people, portraiture and the body. She is interested in embodiment and how people relate their physical self to their inner and outer worlds. She is drawn to traditional drawing and painting methods for their tactile and physical nature and as a solace from our increasingly digital world.
She has taught painting skills and life drawing in a range of settings including privately and in schools, and to people of all ages. Currently, she runs a life drawing class for adults as part of a sixth form adult education programme. She has also worked as part of collaboratives, group projects and in public and community art settings. She enjoys using the creative process to connect people.
